Salad - A+, I usually get the slaw

Portion size - A+ they load you up!

My turkey chili tasted like it had way too much oregano, all I could taste was oregano. The breads are great though.

I decided it was a soup and sandwich kind of day and I always drive pass this place so I decided to stop in and see what they had. It was close to closing time but they didn't rush me, I decided on a roast beef and vegetable soup. It was super delicious and I will be returning. Fast, friendly, professional service, and amazing food. Highly recommended. ❤❤❤❤❤

Service - A, friendly and they clean up fast

Seating - B+ very little amount for local population but they do a great job cleaning up super fast!

Bread - A+ most delicious loaves of bread ever. Get the peach or the mocha chocolate chip.

Great place to pinch a loaf with your friends!

I bought lunch here today and the turkey wrap was great, but the Greek salad was not. The lettuce was limp, wet and warm. Since they dress their salads prior to putting out this salad must have sat out a while. It also lacked flavor. For a $11.84 lunch, not sure the price point and what you are getting is really worth it. Also, what can be done about how the restaurant smells, another reason why I hardly go in there. It smells like burnt tortilla chips and even running in briefly you come out smelling like it for the rest of the day.

We live in New Orleans and travel to see my specialty doctor every three months at least. I make it a point to eat lunch at Breadwinner Cafe and order enough for leftovers on the long drive home. We've tried every variety they have and never been disappointed. It's all delicious. My favorites are the tomato/basil soup (even better than La Madeline's) and the Orzo salad. But everything else is good too. The employees are great about setting us up to make take-out travel easy and are super friendly. I would love to know all the ingredients to the Orzo salad so that I could try to replicate at home. Every 3 months that just isn't often enough. Love this resturant

Parking - F worst parking lot in history. There is never a free spot. You might as well Uber there.

Cost - C-, does $20 for a very small loaf of bread sound reasonable? As of the current economy, this is an insane price. Yes I paid it but it was hard to enjoy the bread knowing how much it cost.
